We are excited to host the popular "Childbirth Or Postpartum" workshop for expectant foreign mothers again this year, which has received great feedback from many participants since its launch in 2023!
This year, to accommodate more participants, we will hold the event on two dates with the same content: Saturday, October 11 and Saturday, November 29! You can enjoy learning practical knowledge about pregnancy, childbirth, and childcare, as well as useful information for raising children in Japan, all in English.
Childbirth and becoming a parent are major life events. For expectant mothers and their partners preparing to give birth in a foreign country, such challenges amid unfamiliar language and culture can be filled with anxiety. To support foreign expectant mothers and their partners preparing for childbirth in Japan, we have invited Professor Igarashi from St. Luke’s International University, a specialist in multicultural nursing, to give a lecture in English about childbirth, postpartum care, and the childbirth environment in Japan.
The childbirth process, communication with the hospital, postpartum physical changes in women, life with the baby, how partners can support women and more, all covered with practical insights. Feel free to ask any questions or share any concerns you may have.
If you have concerns about childbirth, postpartum life, or living with your baby, we invite you to join us. Partners are also very welcome, not just expectant mothers!
