🌸 On March 22nd (Saturday), we held the 8th "Hanamaru Class"! 🎉
Once again, a lively group of children has gathered! We have one new friend joining us and three returning kids who have come back multiple times. ✨
The returning students are making incredible progress in Japanese every time, and it's amazing! 😲 There were moments when I couldn't help but be moved, thinking, "Wait, are they already practicing katakana?!" The growth of children is truly remarkable!
And here's a story from a foreign parent 💡
"I thought it would be fine to start studying Japanese after entering school, but I was surprised to learn that some Japanese children can already write hiragana, katakana, and even kanji before they start school! I wanted to prepare a little, so I decided to join the Hanamaru class."
Indeed, especially in Tokyo, many families are considering entrance exams, and there are quite a few children who can do various things even before entering school! ✏️✨ Another parent mentioned, "I was shocked by the amount of homework in elementary school!" There are also voices saying, "Summer vacation is supposed to be a 'break,' so why is there homework?! It’s not a break at all!" (laughs)
It's interesting to think about things that are taken for granted in Japan! 😆
Foreign parents may wonder, "How should I handle this?" when it comes to homework in Japanese elementary schools. In such cases, we invite you to come and join the "Hanamaru Class"! 🌸✨
We look forward to seeing you next time! 😆🎶
