JII was certified as an "Authorized NPO Corporation" by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, the competent authority, on Thursday, June 4, 2026.
By being certified as a recognized NPO, donations to JII made on or after June 4, 2026, will be eligible for tax benefits such as donation deductions.
