How to Donate

Please fill out the required fields in the form below and submit
Please pack them in a cardboard box and send it to the JII office. We accept any number of boxes with up to 5 books per box (shipping costs are your responsibility).
The secretariat will acknowledge receipt and express gratitude (equivalent to a donation of 1,000 yen for every 10 books).

What You Can Donate

Books with an ISBN (International Standard Book Number) published within the last 10 years
Unused Stamps
Miswritten Postcards
CDs, DVDs, Blu-rays, and video games (released within the last 5 years)

Items That Cannot Be Donated

Books Without an ISBN (International Standard Book Number)
Encyclopedias & Illustrated Guides
Convenience Store Comics
Self-Published Books
Withdrawn Books from Universities and Libraries (Recycled Books)
Comics, Magazines
8cm Single CD
LP Records & Videotapes

* Please refrain from donating items in the following conditions

Contains writing or underlining (more than 5% of the entire content)
Pages are cut, torn or missing
Has dog-eared (folded) corners
Missing accessories, box, or cover
Stamped with an individual or company name
Inculdes a signature
Has strong ordor(eg. tobacco , moisture)
Workbook with answers filled In
Has water stains or mold marks
Embossed (raised relief) on the cover or pages
